Best known for its cold hardiness, this variety has survived for is in our cold winter in Pennsylvania for many years in ground until we had an exceptionally cold winter. It had survived -5ºF. It’s rated to zone 6b.
The pomegranates are pink with red blush, and the arils are red, seeds are a bid harder than the common variety. Excellent tasting pomegranate.
