Robert is a new Pineapple guava variety from New Zealand. It produces a heavy crop of medium size fruit ripening earlier than most varieties. The tree can produce with the absence of other varieties but produces better with a pollinator.

Excellent flavor medium fruit that is self fertile. Produces an abundance of fruit. Pineapple guava survives temperatures down to 10ºF in ground. It makes a great container fruiting plant. It is an evergreen tree with glossy green leaves, The flowers are very attractive.
