Elderberry “York”

Description

York is a highly productive American elderberry variety known for its large, sweet, dark purple-black berries ideal for syrup, jelly, wine, and baking. This vigorous upright shrub grows 6–10 feet tall with attractive white summer flowers that draw pollinators.

Cold hardy in Zones 3–9, it thrives in full sun to partial shade and moist, well-drained soil.
