Bursa Siyahi

A large black fig, it is the top commercial fig variety in Turkey. It has a rich flavor, and large size, seems to be less perishable than many varieties which makes it one of the top commercial figs found around Europe.

This variety is a Smyrna type which requires pollination. Only recommended for parts of California that has the fig wasp. Figs that require pollination will drop in other areas that doesn’t have the fig wasp.
